99.9999999% Data Reliability

The system and data disks of ClawCloud's Cloud VPS products use highly available SSD cloud disks, storing users' business data in multiple copies on an underlying block storage cluster, providing up to 99.9999999% data reliability. Users' read and write operations on Cloud VPS storage are ultimately mapped to read and write operations on files on the data storage platform. To ensure data reliability, the storage system shards data into different chunks and continuously monitors the status of each chunk copy.

When a data node is damaged or a hard drive fails, the number of effective copies of certain chunks may drop below three. In such cases, the Master node automatically triggers the replica synchronization mechanism, replicating data among available Chunk Servers to ensure all chunks always maintain at least three effective copies. This mechanism not only guarantees data availability but also ensures data integrity and consistency, allowing users' businesses to always run in a stable and reliable environment.
